3 major international awards from WPJA 2012 Q1 contest!
Thanks to all the couples whom have placed their trust in me, this season winnings are the most amazing I've ever bagged.
Every year WPJA hosts the largest wedding photography competitions in the world judged by panels of award-winning photojournalists. Membership in WPJA requires rigorous standards in technical skill, aesthetics and best business practices.
Here are the photos.
Coming in at 6th placing, under Lit Portrait category, is the coldest wedding photos I've ever shoot. This is also one of my dreams that came true! Thank you to Jianyong and Jacqueline for realizing my dream!
I love the judges comments - Wow!
I remember when i was shooting this shot, half of my body was in ice. The environment was in minus degree and with strong wind! Thanks to Kay for helping with the additional light too! It was really an incredible journey.
Next up, coming in at 4th placing, under Lit Portrait, crossing the road at Vietnam. Many thanks to Lucien and Liping for flying me to Vietnam. The slave flash for this shot is assisted by Bridal Makeup Artist Liren Neo
Judges Comments - Great use of color and composition to highlight the couple in the busy environment.
You have no idea how dangerous this shot was at. Anyone whom have been to Vietnam knows the zoooooming motorcycles on the roads!
Last but not least, a 2nd placing in getting ready! This is the first time my photo have been placed in the top3 placing. And Jeremy, thanks for letting me shoot you half-naked. By the way, you are doing the steaming iron the wrong way, your pants should be hang. :p
Judges comments - This is a candid, humorous, gem of a moment well seen and captured. Everything works in this photograph.

With the Great Singapore Sale (GSS, 25th May - 22nd July 2012) coming our way , we have also come up with some great promotion to go along.
Was kinda shock in the morning when we started to shoot. Sydney Blue Mountain was totally fogged up! You cant even see 5m in front of you. Got to thank Liren for helping me with the slave flash lights in this photo!
